Well breathing rate seems relatively normal from what I've seen but erratic swimming has been a sort of norm for them since I had them. Other than their panicked darts they were fine, ate fine, and poop was the same colour as the nls pellets.

I noticed the water is cloudy today. I don't know if it's due to the treatment or the unlikely fact there's a mini cycle and bacteria bloom. When I cleaned my filter Wednesday I only washed the first two baskets leaving the biomedia in the third submerged and untouched.

Hey guys, here's what is going on.

I finished the two treatments of para guard yesterday so I did my w/c and started treatment with fungus guard on the entire tank which turned it a green/blueish colour.

Unfortunately the male wanam I had in the hospital tank did not make it as the swim bladder got progressively worse.

On another note, while cleaning my pond today I noticed an albino bn fry. I had no idea they were breeding or that I even had a female. I know I have 4 good sized abn in the pond but I can only find 3 plus the fry, which is the only one apparently which I find a little strange.

    Pics to come later.

Here's a picture of my ABNs...

Obviously this isn't my pond, they were placed in this small tank strictly for the picture .

Really sorry to hear the male wanam didn't make it. Hoping the others are benefiting from the treatments...

Woo Hoo!! for the abn fry, such a tiny little thing. I'm sure that surprise brought a smile to your face :D

Ah breeding rack? Start a journal!, I'm thinking of 8-12 tank set up as well. I got inspired after seeing this video.

Awesome video, my current plan is going to consist of 5 30g Breeders, 2 20g Long, and 2 10g, as well as 4 10g QT/Fry tanks

In the planning stages, need to buy my new house though (shopping this summer). The rack will be all drilled tanks with 2 separate sumps, 1 for all the 30g (dwarf cichlid tanks) and then 1 for the other tanks (shrimp and shrimp friendly fish)
