Tiger Barbs ques.

Hello, I have some questions about my tiger barbs. First, one of my tiger barbs disappeared and me and my dad looked all around the tank for him. We lifted up both of the decor pieces and nothing. We also didn't see him floating near the filter or anything.So, do tiger barbs eat each other? He was not sick or anything too.Also, are tiger barbs known to swim in place at the top of the tank, were the water level stops?Also my bleeding heart tetras swim at the top too.It's weird. Thanks!

swimming at the top is fine unless they seem to be gulping for air. try adding a bubbler and checking the parameters of the tank. 2ndly tiger barbs can jump out of the tank, and they will kill each other (i dont think they can eat them completely but i guess its possible) if you cant find him then look on the floor. if you have cats or any other pet then you might never find the body.

thanks for the info and I do have a bubbler, it's a decor piece with a air stone inside it. Also I never knew that tiger barbs could jump out and we looked everywhere for the body or something and nothing, we even took a suction vacuum and cleaned up the left over food on the floor of the tank and still nothing. We also have a lid on the tank so he could not have jumped out I don't think. Also I just found out that my some of my fish like 4 out of 6 have ick, so I put some quick care ick medicine in the water.
