    .. No.

Do you mean the flow in the tank? The circulation of the water?
    Gas mileage isn't everything OIIIIIIIO
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.

Moving a planted 55 gallon across the room is the same as moving 15 minutes away. Only think missing is the truck but the same procedures apply. It's not hard, just messy.

Helped a friend move a 55g a few months ago, we just took like 80% of the water out, left the fish and decor in the tank. He had these furniture mover things, not sure what they brand name is, looked like plastic coasters, lift up and put under stand, then push the stand. I had my doubts but they worked surprisingly well. We pushed the stand out of the living room, down the hall and into the den.

But that was moving the tank on the stand, the bottom of the tank was fully supported, I wouldn't recommend moving only the tank with anything in it. Empty everything out of the tank before moving it. I also wouldn't lay the tank on its side when it's on the truck. Put it on its bottom or flip it over so it sits on the top.
When I go fishing I just place a sharp rock in the water and sit there waiting for all the dead fish to float to the top... Kingfisher
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I would move the fish in buckets, it is easy and you're not going far. I'm not sure what shape the house is that you bought, but with mine I thought a month overlap from closing til out of my apartment would allow a leisurely move and no problems with moving the fish. I was very wrong; thorough cleaning, spackling the walls, painting, and a ton of outdoor stuff to do all took much longer than I thought. It was not easy like my prior moves had been when I'd gone apartment to apartment. Hopefully your move goes smoothly and your house doesn't need all the stuff done to it that mine did.

Lab_Rat: We have a few touchup paint jobs to do, but it's fairly clean as-is. We have some kitchen cleaning to do, but that won't affect aquarium/furniture placement. I'm foreseeing a rather smooth move, as the house is very close to move-in ready. By the way, after we settle in, we will be in the market for that larger 120+ gallon 6-foot aquarium. I remember you said you'd keep your eyes open. If you hear of any in the area for a good price, let me know!

That's because it was never said... whoops! You and LH both mentioned running it for a while. I guess the time frame was figment of my imagination. My fault! Thank you, lol.
