    Default New Tank

    i am shortly getting a larger tank 55 gall, can i put some of the gravel from my 20 gall tank to help with cycleing? Alos would it help if i put another filter cartidge in my 20 gall filter and after a few days put it into the new tank? would that speed up cycleing or not? thanks.

    Yes. Taking some gravel from your smaller tank is avery good idea.

    The filter idea is also god.

    Thanks William, just got my new tank today, cant wait to get it all set up, as soon as its cycled i am getting a baby Tiger Oscar, been reading up on Oscars and they sound real characters, looking forward to him coming.
