Need some help
Last night, I checked my tank before turning off the lights. All the fish were swimming around acting like fish, looking fine and healthy. Woke up this morning and found my new Marble Angel dead. Last night it looked fine, no clamped fins, no rapid breathing or gulping, no twitching or jerking around. Fished the corpse out and did a water check;
Ph- 7.2
Ammonia-.25ppm(Remember,I just added fish)
Nitrites- 0ppm
Nitrates-about 15ppm based on light shade of orange
Water's good, I can't figure out what happened here. Plenty of aeration, filters are running fine.

Was the angel one of the new ones? And what types of fish did you have...
I'm wondering if you added something that went after the angel and it died of stress55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

Nope, added three Angels at the same time and there was no aggression(When I add new fish, I watch the tank for long periods of time). Nothing else in the tank but a Pleco and eight Corys.

It may have just been an unhealthy fish when you got it...
I don't know a ton about angels... but if the other two were paired already that could have caused an issue... again that's just a stab in the dark55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

All three were/are silver-dollar sized Juveniles. No pairing.

Not only are angels a poor fish for cycling a fish tank, just as already posted, 3 angels can not be in a tank together. Two can IF they are a mated pair.
I keep one angel in two different 55 gallon tanks due to this same reason.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

Reason I didn't go with angels lol. Now if they could come up with dwarf angels I may be a buyer ;)

Wouldn't matter any. Dwarf cichlids can be just as snippy as large cichlids. That's why they are called cichlids!

Please look at both my current parameters and my past thread about the cycling I went through. Tank is fully cycled. All tanks go through a mini-cycle when fish are added, which explains the slight Ammonia reading. I also did a 30% water-Change two days before adding the fish. Other than Aquasafe, I've used no chemicals in the water for the last three or four weeks and that was a dose of API Quick-Start.
I did check the dead fish for any signs of aggression or desease. No physical signs of aggression, no torn fins etc. Gills looked normal under magnification(I used a 7x loupe), no discoloration, no distension of the belly, no parasites or fungus.
Guys, don't mean to be curt or rude but, I need help, not stocking opinions.
