what to do with cory fry runt?
I have 10 albino cory fry (not really fry anymore) that are about 5 weeks old. 8 are growing fine (they grew very rapidly for a while). 1 is much smaller but looks like it might get big enough to go in a community tank. One is tiny and doesn't seem to be growing at all (about as big as the others were after a few days). So does anyone have any ideas what to do with the tiny one? The others will go into community tanks soon. The first pic shows the larger of the small ones, next to one of the smaller big ones. The second pic shows the tiny one next to a big one. They are all the same age.

Just let the small one grow out on its own for a while longer. If you have a peaceful community tank, can release it into there should be fine. I've ended up with small runts out of batches of fry as well, usually just let them grow out a bit longer before moving them.

AWWW. It's so cute. I would take it off your hands if I could. Love Corys.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without

If it is a runt yet not showing any signs of distress or sickness keep it for yourself. So long as you do not breed it or give it to someone who would breed it and not pass on the deformity it is OK. I give a lot of fish that are not quite perfect to new hobbyists. Kids, the elderly, people who don't have a lot of money for pets etc. If I was the fish I think I might choose to live.

Keep it for now, as the aren't really any urgent reasons to do anything with it. I myself have had laggers and late bloomers eventually (almost completely) catch up with normal peers.
