Tank Size?
How can I go about finding out what gallon this tank is? I found in on the side of the road after the cops threw some people out of a house. Still in really good shape.

It looks to be a corner type tank..

If you measured accurately, Math doesn't lie lol.
I would leak test it obviously but ..Enjoy,

Yea, I already did a leak test. Has a small leak where some of the seal is missing. I can go get some from the LFS and see if I can fix it.. If not all I'm out is the new seal...

You may know this already but...
FYI, New silicone will not stick to old silicone and you will need to reseal it completely. It's not overly complicated though & here is a thread on that process, Google and YouTube will obviously also have more info.

Look at the big picture man..
Lets not be complaining about the 20$ spent in total for this 42G tank.. Know what I mean?
IMO You are still way ahead so go ahead and throw down a $20 to support your local LFS.

Ah, In that case I would use GE silicone 1 or the Loctite brand Plumbers silicone [States its aquarium safe right on the label:-D]. As long as it is 100% pure silicone & has no mold inhibitors [IE: don't use the 'kitchen & bath' GE2 type] you are good to go.
