  1. Default Ideas for an aquarium decoration.

    Good afternoon guys :)
i am changing a bit my aquarium decoration.

but it's clear there is something missing.. it looks a bit poor concerning decoration.
Around the grotto that i made(the aquarium corner behind it) will be planted with vallisneria.

What do you think can i add to enhance the decoration of the aquarium?
all your ideas will be helpful to me :)
The aquarium is a bit disorganized, concerning the background poster,it will be a black poster, the plants floating...it's just because i am changing his decoration.
    Thanks a lot

More foreground/ midground plants and a giant piece of driftwood off center in the tank. You need some bottom dwellers/ feeders like a large school of Cories. Your tank looks very nice btw.

Tank looks good can't add much to what was already suggested, More driftwood and plants.

I ordered many, many plants and also my driftwood from mikeswetpets on Ebay but see his is now on AquaBid.

    http://www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/aucti...r&Mikeswetpets

His wood is malaysian so sinks right away. I just ordered about 6/ 10-12" pieces and stacked them up in my tank. Attached some anubias to them and let it go at that.

That tank looks well stocked already so I wouldn't add any more fish.

As to decoration.. well... tastes differ....

Personally I find it rather bare and boring. There's not much to catch the eye and certainly not lead it anywhere. Plantwise there's not much going on and mainly low stuff.
I'd get some height in, possibly with wood. I'd certainly plant a bit more.

    Hello,
you are right, but i thought that i should wait a bit so all these plants grow a bit to see what it's gonna look like.
I think to add something attractive i am going to remove the plants behind the driftwood and place some high plants there.
What do you think? as for a driftwood where can i place it ?
Thanks for the link but i don't live in USA,far from the USA so it might be difficult for me to get them...
