red lion fish
Years ago I remember seeing a red lion fish and thought it was awesome. Now I want one. However, I don't know what kind it was... any suggestions? I looked at liveaquariua and the ones they have don't remind me of what I saw. It looked like a typical Volitan Lionfish but it was red.
Do you know what I saw?300g + 240g in wall build! - Follow Here

If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?
Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen.
I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I do believe Mommy1 nailed it. They are cool looking fish
With large tanks like yours, have you considers some of full sized lionfish ? Like a black Volitan or maybe a Russels ?If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

That does look like it.
@cliff - I had a common lion fish but it died a while back. I had it for 2-3 years and one day just became a picky eater. I eventually isolated him and bought a lot of ghost shrimp. Once it stopped eathing those I finally had to put it to sleep. It was sad.....
anyways, I just kept thinking about the red one's. I have all of next year to decide
