angel ram?

I went to my lfs today and they had just gotten in an angel ram. I've never seen one before and cant seem to find much info on them online. Does anyone know how big they get? Are they similar to the other rams when it comes to aggression? What water parameters do they need?

what i have found about the "angel" ram is that it is technically the "balloon" ram. which is a genetically modified german blue ram. it'll look more like a balloon molly mixed with a ram by the end of its life.

so if you start your search there..you'll find more info.

however, i would recommend you not get this fish.
they get very ugly (IMO) and i'm not a fan of genetically modified fish. the EBR however, is okay because it is a color morph....the "angel" ram is a physical morph and b/c of that aren't as successful in surviving long term.

you have to keep in mind: they are cichlids, they are sensitive, and they are cichlids (have to hit on the point twice)
