lighting hood
hi all i have a rekord 600 tank with a t8 tube i am limited to low tech plants i have vallis anubis and a crypt would like to change my hood seen some on e-bay for 40 50 quid anybody got one or know anybody who has they seem a bit cheap to me so im dubius thanks in advance .

Before we inundate hanssg, bear in mind they are in the UK.
They mention the rekord 600 tank, which is s Jewel model and quid.
In the UK, there used to be readily available T8 to T5 adapters for light fixtures. That would be the simplest upgrade, to start with, if they are still readily available.

IF these are available you can run 28 watt T5NO lamps in a T8 32/40 watt fixture.
