Reef for life, just starting "Fresh!"

Hello! I've been running a Reef tank for about 6 years now. I have not had any problems thus far and I love keeping that reef happy.

Its a 75 gallon, with a 20 gallon long sump. I have an ASM G1-x protein skimmer, a 10 gallon section filled with Cheato Marcoalgae grass, and a 6 bulb Sunlight Supply Tek light kit. In the tank I have:

Fish- a single Ocelarius Clown, a fox faced rabbit fish, a mandarin dragonet, watchman goby, a clown goby,
Inverts- two cleaner shrimp, 10 turbo snails, 12 nassarius snails, and 1 Mexican Turbo snail.
Corals- Green star polyps, watermelon, alien-eye, blue, green Zoas, Blue-green Ricordias, Blue Ricordias, Blue Acropora, Green Millepora, Red shelving Montipora, Alien-eye Chalice, Purple green-eye chalice, Xenias, Papaya Cloves, Galaxia Coral, Ducan coral, Dendrophyllia, Pink Birds nest, Pink Styllophora, Purple tip green frogspawn, Branching Torch, non-branching torch, a white spot purple encrusting montipora, a superman encrusting montipora (blue flesh, red polyps), a green hornet pavona, an orange hornet pavona, 6 different polyps of acans, and about a thousand blue star polyps, and a thousand purple mushrooms (they never go away!).

Now I am starting a 29 gallon freshwater tank. It will be a planted tank with rams as the centerpiece. I will probably have a school of cardinals as well as Julii corys and otocinclus. Some of the plants I'd like to get are baby tears in the foreground, anubias or swords in the background and something in the mid ground =). The filter is a API Rena Filstar xp3 rated for 125 gallons, filled with filter floss, activated carbon, Fluval ClearMax, and API BioChem Stars. The heater is attached to the filter. The Light is a 4 bulb t5 light fixture.

I have worked at a local fish store for years and know quite a bit about fish but I love to learn new things, so I am always open to listening to others.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your setups! I would love to try Saltwater one day. My 4 year old would love me more if he could have a clown fish. He doesn't understand the whole fresh/salt water thing and I think he just thinks I'm mean and won't get him a "Nemo"

I can definitely post some pictures as soon as I get some taken! Salt is difficult if you don't care for it. But the best decision you can make is to spend a bit extra money than you want on the initial set up. If you don't spend the money on the tank initially, you will beat yourself up and then need to buy it anyways.
