Hello everybody . This is my first post so please bear with me. Trying to set up a very unusually shaped tank. Stands about 5 ft high, 14 inches wide ( hexagonal shape) so I know its not ideal. Would really appreciate some suggestions on how to stock this tank.

Welcome to the AC, that is a very odd shaped tank, your gona struggle to stock it if your going freshwater, I think it would be slightly, just slightly easier to stock with marine inverts/fish
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .

I'd stock it with only a whole bunch of smaller fish in large schools. Fish swim back and forth, not up and down, so these tanks are not good for larger fish.

Welcome to the forum. Small fish like rasboras and tetras would be the way to go.
