can LED be to bright for fish?

well I have went all out on my bettas and need 1 more led light, i was thinking the small marineland bright led lights. I found a good deal on them.

and it is for a 5.5 gallon. It says for tanks 10 to 15 gallon. Is there such a thing as to much light and would this blind my poor betta

I have this light on my 10gal, in addition to another LED light. It's not terribly bright, and I don't think it will bother your betta(s) at all.

Brighter light can bother them though, my little one didn't like bright light. Floating plants do a great job of mitigating this if you have to (I have salvinia and water sprite, both good), or float some anacharis or other bunch plant. Alternatively, floating some dry oak leaves on the surface will help for a few days until they sink. Just make sure they are clean and dry beforehand.

You can gradually reduce the cover if you want to, and if your fish cooperate. But I doubt you will have any trouble. Good luck.

they have floating plants, my boy(who am getting the light for) loves making his nest on one specific plant.. lol thanks
