Platies in Brackish?!
I have been adding salt to my tank for my puffers and Pictus Catfish. My salinity is at 1.018 as of now, and I plan on going higher. The platies are doing GREAT so far, and I'm taking the process slow.
I'm just curious to how much they can stand?"You can never do too much research. The more the better."
55g - 2 Green Spotted Puffers, 5 assorted Platies, 1 Goldfish, 1 Pictus Catfish.
(And my beloved Betta Fish, Crescent and Reginald Maroon Cinco - Both in 5 Gallons alone.)
Past critters: Snowflake Moray Eel, Sengal Bichir, Violet Dragon Goby, Assorted Angels, Baby Whale Fish, Royal Farlowella, African Knife, Assorted Mollies, Lavender, Gold, and Kissing Gouramis.

i'll repeat from your other post...
pictus catfish won't like the salt
nor will your goldfish
to address this question.
it wont matter if they can or cannot handle it...the puffers will be far to aggressive and near destroy them

+ 1 to mizzoutank, puffers always look cute but end up terrors and the pictus do not like salt at all.
