    Default pregnant platy?

    hi
    my female platy is really big ever since 4 weeks ago
    she shows only a little darkening of the abdomen
    aren't they suppose to breed after 2 weeks of pregnancy
    why hasnt she breed-ed yet

    she is in a 20 gallon with 1 guppy 1 honey gourmai and 2 other platy

    It's more like 24-28 days.
    15 gal: 4 mollies, 1 platy, 1 neon tetra, trumpet snails, pond snails.
    20 gal: 20+ various molly and platy fry, pond snails.
    55 gal: Planted. No fish yet.

    thanks but turns out it already had bred and i didnt notice
    today i saw one littile fry alone scared and now he probably aten

    I thought that about my last brood of platy fry, but it turns out four of them survived and were really well hidden.
    15 gal: 4 mollies, 1 platy, 1 neon tetra, trumpet snails, pond snails.
    20 gal: 20+ various molly and platy fry, pond snails.
    55 gal: Planted. No fish yet.
