Been traveling on business a lot the last two weeks. France one week, Finland the next. Tank is do for a good clean now, have only had the time to do the bare minimum and had my daughter do the feeding.

Did have a brush with a pale staghorn algae earlier in march in the high light and low flow areas. 10 days of daily liquid co2 in the affected area sorted it out.

Hey! There he is! I've been missing your voice around here. Glad to hear you're doing well, though busy. Traveling around to all those different countries would be pretty cool, but I imagine it gets tiring. Where are you off to next?

Should be in country for the whole month. :)

Had some people to pick up shrimp and excess plants. Everyone remarking about how well the tank looks.

Apparently algae problems are widespread in this town. Personally I find redfield ratio, dash of trace mix and occasionally a week with some liquid carbon is all I need.

Currently with the young ancistrus rummaging around I'm deliberately bringing the tank slightly off balance to encourage some green algae.

Hehehehe, that's what I've been calling him, little dude! He's very active and the fact that because of his colour he gets the occasional nip by mistake doesn't seem to bother him
