Some new acquisitions
An interesting Gold;

A nice Marble with a Chocolate nose;

Beautiful Super-Veil with iridescence;

This is why you need a tall tank for Angels, he's still a juvie but I measured from his back to the tip of his lower fin at a little over five inches.

Nice additions Dave.

Beautiful Angels
The first one the Gold do you know if it is a male or female? Looks a lot like mine holds the fins the same and body is more like my angel than the others and would love to know if mine is a male/female. Those are some pretty angels you have

Kevin, yes they are.
butterbean, Angels are almost impossible to sex until they get ready to breed. With Adults there are some telltale signs like the Hump the males tend to develope on the front of the top of their head and sometimes the males swim slowly around with all their fins outstretched(Posturing for the ladies) but, by and large, you have to wait til the vents drop. The female's vent is thick and the Males tapers like a cone and is thinner.

Butterbean, here. I found a good photo of a male with a very distinctive Nuchal Hump, it's the Black Angel.

Thank you Dave that gives me a really good example. I only have enough room for one angel so I'll have to just do the best I can at figuring it out from pictures because I will not be breeding him/her. After looking at the pictures I think mine is still to young to tell but at this point I think there is more of a bump on the head then ski slope.
