brown spots on teacup ray

all has been good for a few weeks now. Today we noticed brown spots under the ray. Is that normal?

do you know the exact species of ray? "teacup" is a loose term for any baby ray pup in the petstore trade. some species could have brown spots.

tank size? filtration? water parameters? all info is needed for the best assessment of your ray. pics would be greatly help aswell.

sorry for the delay but I couldnt get on the site.
I added some salt and all seems fine now. The spots turned into a fungas and he now has a hole in his fin but after the salt everything cleared up, i just hopt the hole grows back.
