Are your molly fry idiots, too?
Saw 7 or 8 new fry in the tank this morning. Didn't have time to do anything about it and wasn't really planning to. When I got home they were all gone, which doesn't surprise me because they were all congregating at the surface where food goes. Why don't they have the sense to hide in the substrate like platy fry? I have 4 survivors who have learned to swim out at feeding time and snatch the TetraMin flakes that Mom allows to sink.
15 gal: 4 mollies, 1 platy, 1 neon tetra, trumpet snails, pond snails.
20 gal: 20+ various molly and platy fry, pond snails.
55 gal: Planted. No fish yet.

I never had platy fry hide in the substrate. They hide in the plants. LOL
