Update To The 55 Gallon
So I have not been able to get on this forum for over a week but glad its back up ....
anyways from my last post , I had mentioned my last red devil that i had
bought sick :( had died. Got my driftwood and a new fish another red devil,
got him on black friday at a lfs in Sacramento. On dec 7 will be 2 weeks
since i got him. These videos are like 2 days after i had him in the tank . Since then i have had loads of tannin/ tea colored water or whatever it is called leached in my tank. Hopefully it wont be in there much longer ,also i have like white fuzz growing on my driftwood, but looked it up and seems its normal or common with driftwood and no harm . I have been feeding him exclusively NLS Thera+A since i got him hoping to give it every chance of being healthy . It goes crazy for this food !! And now he spends his days patrolling the tank and interacting with me or anyone that comes by his tank . anyways hope you guys enjoy the videos if everything goes according to plan i should be uploading updates every month .
watch them in HD if you can ...

Nice he loves that driftwood and the camera. By the way how do you keep your AC110 intakes that clean ? mines are filthy.

Thanks , yea that's his home . I just hope its big enough for when he gets bigger too and the intakes well every now and then ill take them off and run my fingers thru the tube wiping off what i can that's about it .. but the filters are not that old bought them both brand new im sure they will get more dirty thru the months ahead also i noticed on the video you have both strainers still attached imo it would be better to do like i did and cut one end off that way its less restrictive on the flow and less chance for something to get caught plus you only need one really if you ever need to use the filter in a shorter tank or whatnot just use the one that has the strainer still attached

I never thought of that im going to do that later when im doing a water change, mines seem to get yellowish brown mighty quick. Im going to make anew vid as i added some new rocks and i have a hierarchy and the fish have a bit more color. Look for that tonight.
