Newbie on the prowl
Okay, so I've been snooping around here for a bit now, so figured I'd get around to posting and introduce myself.
I've had a tank of some size or another (all smaller) for 4 or 5 years now, but up until recently had no idea what I was doing, much my embarrassment and the detriment of a few fish and shrimp. So I started really getting serious about 1.5 years ago and got bit by the bug. I started with a 10G and have increased that to a 20 (wisely keeping the 10 for a QT), and haven't lost a member yet. Currently housing 7 serpae tetras, 3 snakeskin barbs and a clown pleco.
In progress is a 55 that I'll be doing as a planted, dirted, low-tech tank, DIY stand that I'm about a week from finishing, and a light source, since it was just a tank buy with no accessories. I have everything else, including some already seeded bio media to help speed up cycling.
As always, the more you learn, the more you learn that you actually know less, so I'll be here asking.
