Haha- well the thread started with such intense drama and suspense while we waited for the test results to come in so a little comic relief was in order.

And back to your dead serpae ... it might have just been weak to begin with or ,as someone suggested, bullying might have been the issue. I have 6 serpae in my 30 - gorgeous little guys - but they seem pretty mellow. Hopefully your others will stay healthy as now you know it's not your water :o)

  7. Default Nooooooo...Not another one!

Well folks, It happened last night again. I woke to find another dead Serpae. I have been watching the fish carefully. The only thing I did notice was that one (assuming the now dead guy), did have faster than normal respiration going on. At least faster than the other fish but it was not at the surface as though it was gasping for air.

Again all of the others appear to be normal. I am grabbing some coffee and going to run water tests again.

    Cool livestream

Considering how long you have had them I am now leaning towards something internal but I suck at diagnosis & I [luckily] have little exp with sick fish.

Wiser opinions will no doubt follow.
I have six words for you.

    Sorry it's not HD lol...

No other fish are showing any signs of the rapid respiration like I saw yesterday. They all appear to be in good health.
