let me confuse you all, air pumps
ok, so with my betta situation, the oily slick film, is causing me to have to get filters for my 5 gallons, So i am going the rigged cheap way, I have 2 very small sponge filters, VERY small.I want to run both sponge filters off of 1 air pump. my problem is finding a small air pump that has 2 valves. All the double valved pumps ar for 50 gallons and up, that would be an earth quake for the bettas. so i come to yall, wondering if any of yall have seen any small air pumps that are doubled valved.

What about using a T fitting in the air line ?
If it has enough power to run both filters, you could save yourself the cost of a new pump. For $1 or so it would cost you, I would try that firstIf you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Yea, I use the T, but for the opposite, I have a air pump with two valves that I am sending down 1 air line tube. Any LFS should have them for cheap. Just make sure you put a check valve on both lines, or at least on the 1 line before the pump
