Green terror cichlid
Hello..I was just given a 55 gallon tank with a adult green terror in it..trying to decide if I should keep him or surrender him to the petstore..I like community tanks and since it's a sealed tank was thinking of maybe getting a freshwater eel since I really like those guys alot..This is not my first tank..it would be the third I currently have up..I am new to cichlids..I have a 29gal souther american cichlid tank but none are green terrors..what's the chance of being able to put anything in with this fish or will it pretty much eat anything that I put in there with him?

Well, as with most fish, it depends on the individuals temper. Green terrors are not called terrors for nothing, and chances are since he has had that tank to himself he considers it all his and will kill anything you try to put with him.
If it's called tourist season why can't I shoot them?

I think my fish is adjusting well to the four gallon, He's laying on his side attempting to go to sleep on the bottom of the gravel.
Tolerance is a great thing to have, so is the ability to shut up.

I don't think it will work. Since the GT has been alone in that tank for awhile, it more likely thinks the whole tank is its territory, and there's a good chance it will kill any new fish added to the 55g.
