Been awhile!
Hi all,
I have not been on here in a LONG time. Once I got all the information I needed from here, got my tank cycled and the Fish took off, I kinda got away from going on here! I missed it. I have a 60 gallon tank with 20....yes 20 (yup...they had babies!) I am currently handing off some to my sis in law so hopefully I will be down some. Ive grown to love them all though!!!
How many can i safely keep? They really all do get along. I tried to upload photos but they are to big! Have to figure out how to resize them

Are they mbuna of peacocks? Mbuna you are ok as your tank is "over stocked" as it is supposed to be for them to minimize aggression. If its peacocks and haps that may be too much depending on what you have.

No Peacocks! I just get worried they don't have enough room. I did lose the "mother" of the babies recently. I think she just got tired of carrying eggs and not eating..poor thing. She was a beautiful all white Cichlid. Broke my heart

It really depends on what kind of cichlids you have.
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
