Horned Nerites Laying Eggs in FW tank
So... I've read on here that Nerite snails only breed in Brackish water, but I've been finding little white ovals (eggs) on my tank glass AND on my Orange Rabbit snail's shell (I did see a Nerite hitch a ride on him before - just thought he was cleaning the shell, though, not laying eggs).
Anyway... has anyone ever had the experience of Nerites actually hatching in FW tanks or will I just have random eggs lying around the tank until they're removed?
It would be an interesting tale to tell, should it actually happen. I'll keep an eye on them, but hopefully someone here has an answer.Adventures in Aquaria - The KevinVA Story
