    Thanks everyone.

I just fed them for the first time.

It looked like a school of Piranha. It is fun to watch them eat to say the least.

I have kept tiger barbs in a community tank. The secret is to have a good number of them so they leave everything else alone. I kept my tiger barbs peacefully with a 3 spot gourami, some otto's and some amano shrimps with zero aggression.

Great looking tank. Lovin the tiger barbs so much they are one of my favourite fish. I know it sounds tedious but try flash boiling a few peas and then split them up into quarters or eighths. The tiger barbs will go crazy for them. I used to feed this to my tigers and gourami as well as blood worms and it conditioned them for spawning nicely. THeir mating ritual is awesome to watch! It's quite the spectacle. Unfortunately I only had 1 tank at the time so I could not raise the fry. They gobble their own eggs up like crazy!

So far so good. All of my little guys seem to be doing well.

There were 2 that I was a little worried about because they stayed to themselves and one looked to have a bit of fin rot.

    But they seem ok now.

tiger barb will nip at each other's fins if there are 2 smaller and weaker ones they might get bullied a bit more than the others resulting in the fins looking like they always have the rot. at least in my experience any ways.
