Was your ammonia level ever non-zero?
Without knowing that, maybe you are and maybe not.
In any case, you need to feed the bacteria (if any) and that needs ammonia (best if you get some today.)
If the ammonia level is set to 1 ppm and you get zero within 24 hours that bacteria is working; as for nitrites, maybe, and maybe not.
Best to continue the cycle for a week to confirm - zero nitrites are common for the first phase of any cycle and even with some bacteria from an established media, the bacteria that convert nitrite might not be properly established.Knowledge is fun(damental)
A 75 gal with eight Discus, fake plants, and a lot of wood also with sand substrate. Clean up crew is fifteen Sterba's Corys. Filters: canister w/UV, in-tank algae scrubber that removes phosphates and nitrates! Also, a highly dangerous commercial nitrate removal unit from hell
