Need and ID for this plant

It wasn't labeled at the LFS so they sold it to me for $1.

That looks like the Windelove or Lace Java Fern variety to me. I have the straight leaf variety in my tank. If it is, the rhizome should not planted under the substrate because it will rot.

Yes, Or on DW or a rock. At least unbury the rhizome as mentioned.

I have this and it's not fussy wrt any parameter especially IME, But it is slow growing.

The general scoop on size is about 6 or 8" but mine never get get close because they get uprooted [Plecos! :shakes fist:

] and I find them floating around who knows how long later

Having said that, Even when I find them sucked up against the filter intake they are still alive just not putting any growth on. I just find another spot for them to sit until they get knocked around again for another round of hide-n-seek lol.

IME, They are tough little rascals that require minimal babysitting.
