    Great looking setup! We are moving our multie colony from the 20g to a 40g breeder in a few months. You are really making me want to add some of that Texas Holey Rock... Is that what that is?

    Yes. I boiled all of it in a large lobster pot before placing any of it in my tank then I pieced it together to form a rock "ledge" for the Calvus. I can't wait until I start to get green algae on the rock surface. The other rock in the tank is 2 different lava rock types: black and gray.Thank you for your kind words btw.

    Hey Jeff. Just found this thread. what a gorgeous tank. IF - and that's a big IF - I ever start another tank it's going to be a shelly. If it would look even half as nice as yours I'd consider it a success.
    30 gal FW:dw gourami, cory cats, ABN pleco, Colombian & Serpae tetra, nerites & mystery snails

    Looks good.

    You no longer need to use the youtube video embed code. Simply post the url to the youtube as text (as in your first post) and it will be embedded aitomatically.
