I want to buy some discus fish. Right now I have neon tetras and a guppy. That's all I have in my tank. I know one website that's based out of Tampa that is kinda close to me. I just want to know of other places that have good prices around me. Does anyone have any suggestions? Oh I have a 55 gallon tank. I know I can also have a least six discus in my tank.

Not exactly sure where they are located but somethingsphishy.com has pretty reasonable prices plus the quality of fish is pretty high. They will randomly have deals on discus and for the sizes that they list, they tend to be a little bit bigger, which is a good thing!

Please make sure you know what you are getting into before getting these fish - they are sensitive fish and need certain conditions in order to do well. One type of post that we see here is "I just started a discus tank and they don't look like they're doing well." We ask all sorts of questions and find out the tank is too small, the temperature is too low, the poster isn't checking water parameters and didn't know about cycling their tank.
