they are mine! all mine! is it eeek! or hahahaha!
hi guys. i work in my lfs and have been quite content in my own little world of coldwater and tropical community systems for some time. today i was asked to take care of our 2 discus systems full time, the owners pregnant wife today found out she was having triplets, 6 weeks before her due date, with totally free reign and a reasonably modest budget to do as i see fit. our discus are in ok condition but it seems they take turns being unhappy and some attention is always required. i would love all help suggestions and advice on what i should tackle first, things to be doing and what to look out for to turn my discus from a box to be ticked to a shop show stopper and a reason for people to make the trip.
our shop water is ph 6.8, slightly soft, declorinated, and stable. i have a system(3x 48x15x12, with dividers to give me 332 for one, and 322 for the other, plus 2 48x15x12 tanks as is in isolation. the 2 systems being sump filtered) of asian discus, and one of stenkler. i dont want to over load you guys with data so feel free to ask. thanks. the lionLast edited by lionofcaliban; 11-24-2012 at 12:35 AM.
