Do pink convict cichlids do a "love dance"
and swim around each other or any other signs of breeding?
or are they just happy to be out of the fish store

Even if they are... & getting convicts to breed is as easy as adding water btw.
They are not going to be very happy very long in that 10g tank, Please read the link I posted in your other thread to learn about what is appropriate housing for them.
It would really be best if you researched fish before you brought them home.

i know about the size requirements, we are getting a bigger tank just not sure what size yet. i needed fry producers, good ones.

its never wise to get fish then plan to get a bigger home.
if you start with the bigger tank, you'll spend less money in the long run, and have a proper home/less stress on the fish.

That tank will soon turn into a death chamber. This fish are very aggressive and you need separate tanks for your breeders.
