Harlequin Rasbora question
I have 5 Harlequins and as far as I know they are healthy. My question is about their behavior every few days I have 1 that goes off by herself and swims in place in one of the plants for awhile then all of the sudden she is back with the rest until the next time. Could she be laying eggs? I know if she is they will never survive I have a BN - 6 Corys - and a lot of the snails no one likes and they are all very busy little guys. I'm just looking for an possible explanation of her behavior. Thanks

They hang upside down under plant leaves when laying eggs. It's kind of fun to watch them because the female "practices" for awhile and then the male joins her. Her going off alone sounds like she is comfortable in the tank and unafraid. That's a good thing.
