  1. Default when to expect more fry from swordtail

One of my female swordtails gave birth October 23. We put her back with the male that day. Tank is divided with babies on one side, adults on other side.
When can I expect her to have more babies?
Also, when will the babies be big enough to put in with the adults?
If we leave the older babies in "Baby side" of tank... and female is ready to give birth... will the older babies eat the new babies?

Any knowledgeable swordtail breeders out there with advice.

They have a roughly 30 day gestation period so you can expect nearly monthly batches of fry.

About the fry: Yes, Smaller fish are eaten by big fish.

How big of a tank is this and what are your plans for all the fry? Depending on the answer to that question you may have to figure out how to get rid of your fry instead of how to save them.

My GF calls me insincere... I pretend to care.

It's likely that you are going to have some very well fed fish or be overflowing with fry.

    Enjoy the ride.

In my experience, it's "when you least expect it," and "way too often." :D
15 gal: 4 mollies, 1 platy, 1 neon tetra, trumpet snails, pond snails.
20 gal: 20+ various molly and platy fry, pond snails.
55 gal: Planted. No fish yet.
