Angel meets Bristlenose
I've had 2 males and 1 female BN in the same tank for 3 years. Never had any babies for some reason. Yesterday I noticed the female looked a little beat up so I dropped her in the tank with my one angel. Good heavens. For 3 hours the angel twitched, jerked, charged, tried to sneak up on that BN until she looked like a psychopath.
This morning the tank lights come on and away she goes again. She is used to little fish surrounding her and does not know what to think of this BN. Fish are so weird.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••

@ a paranoid angel all freaking out over a new monster fish in her tank while the pleco just wonders "What is her problem?"
Strangly enough, I have never seen my angels pay the least bit of attention to the BNPlecs in the 90

My BN totally ignores my Angel now but she still spends all day every day "hunting/looking for him" She no longer nips at him but it's almost like she is afraid he is going to steal something from the tank she just has to know where he is and will look in every cave and under all the rocks until she finds him.

That's cute.
It made me want to throw a big old Jaguar Cichlid in the tank just to see how silly she'd really get.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••
