Clown Loach bad eating habits

I have five Clown Loaches and here is my concern when it comes to them. The only thing they seem to want to eat is black worms & blood worms . I have giving them shrimp pellets,algae wafers, squash. They will just swim over to them and then move on. But when it comes to blood worms and black worms omg they will be gone in about 1 minute. I want my loaches to have a balance diet and not just eat worms all the time.

Have you tried feeding cucumber or zucchini/courgette?

Sounds like it's time to do the starvation method by only offering shrimp pellets and other pellets for 14 days straight. Maybe feed them a little bit of worms on the 15th day, and then only pellets for another 14 days and so on. If that doens't work after 3 months, then you will have to increase the 14 day period to 21 days of only pellets.

try feeding them different foods in the early morning. that is when clowns seem to be on the prowl the most. if they are not too small you can starve them a few days. mine will eat anything...
