Emeralds cats or Emerald cories

I did do my research but have been seeing conflicting names, heck I even have 2 big fish books and in each one they have differant names, though there size is the same. So along with BF sales they had these on sale cause they were big compared to the other cories. I bought 7 to finish off my bottem level of the tank. so after the act Will they stay small or is there 2 differant breeds with differant care. Petsmarts id said 3 inches; even though i never pay that mine that lengh did mach a few caresheets

you can pretty much bet that is is the above species, and not actually the cory species.
