Black Friday shopping

How can any employer justify putting his employees through this so he can make a few bucks? I have to wonder how much stuff is carried out the door unpaid for. I think it's just awful to put any employee through this. Bad enough they have to work on the Holiday to began with.

Yup...I don't want anything that badly...

...and this year? The Canadians are getting into the Black Friday marketing. Why? We alread have Boxing Day...;)

It's just stupid...when this ridiculous shopping becomes the highlight of your holidays...

And yes...I think we need to go back to old-time values...have some days of the year where everything, other than emergency services gets shut-down. Maybe people will start to reconnect more that way.

I participate in black friday shopping every year...I have never seen anyone injured. Sure some people will get into a squabble over something stupid they dont need but no one has ever gotten bloodied up like that. You can score some great deals if you are willing to deal with the crowd. Just keep in mind that everything is crowded, you will be bumped into by others just because there is not much room for people to go. I have met a lot of very nice people on black friday and actually most people are helpful and still maintain kindness.

Well this year I did actually end up shopping Black Friday.... because I was out of eggs!

I prefer to get most of my shopping done well before the silly season.
