    atleast within a month im giving him a much better home and that hes going to be really happy, and how come when im in the room he chills on the bottom and looks at the other fish, but when i leave and come back he is freely swimming, is it possible that he/she doesnt like me lol

    ok that makes me feel better, both my little cichlids ( albino and electric blue) have been warming up very well to him and giving him space plus no agression at all in the tank which is good

    Just keep an eye on them. Oscars demeanors do change around 5-7".
