    ٩(̾●̮̮̃̾•̃̾)۶ - korith welcome and have fun learning - fishmommie Good - good. :-D I get read all wrong on occasion and thought that might have been the case - Turns out it was ME reading wrong lol. Later on - 850R YVW ! - BTW... Have a pleco :-D - 850R thank you - Indian Woods Angels 

    Default BN ...male or female

    Can anyone tell me haw to tell if my BN is a male or female? Also the girl at my LFS told me the female BN does not get bristles on her nose is that correct?
    30 gal Freshwater
    1 young Angel, 6 Pepper Corydoras, 5 Harlequin Rasbora 1 Bristle-nose Pleco

    the male will develop a good batch of bristles on the nose as he matures, whereas the female will only develop either small "nubs" or none at all. Sorry I dont know how to sex them before the brisltes develop
