    Welcome to the AC.

May I ask why you would want to paint the inside of a tank?

I have a corner overflow box, which is kind of neat up, it is plastic...I hear Fusion paint is safe inside, what kind do they use for backgrounds that are inside the tank. Thanks

Did you mean "beat up", lol

I've painted the outside glass on my tanks, but not the inside....there's a few members here who have made custom, painted inner backgrounds on their tanks, however...hopefully they'll chime in with an answer for you

I have used Acrylic based paints for making DIY dimensional backgrounds, mainly with the acrylic Drylok waterproof sealer and touched up or tinted with craft/hobby acrylic paints. The plastic adhering acrylic Fusion paints are safe so long as you give the paint enough time to completely dry.

Did this to my 75 gallon many years ago:

And recently did this for my 125:
    IMG_20190902_093236128.jpg
    IMG_20190904_055300892.jpg

All with Drylok either as its base color (grey for the top/white on the bottom) and tinted with acrylic craft paint or straight acrylic paint as the last layer for detail.

It hold up well, my first background was up for almost 10 years with no issues. I broke the tank down when I moved and didn't keep the first background.

Yep, drylok with concrete pigment for me. Make sure you don't get the kind with fungacide or other additives, as it won't do your fish any good.
