I had a hungry little fish
whose appetite was great.
When I brought my fishy home,
he ate, and ate, and ate.
He ate up all the rocks and plants,
and though against my wish,
he turned around, when he was through,
and ate the other fish!
Sorry, couldn't resist!

Very nice, Luke. Beautiful fishes.
Think with logic and rationality more than emotion. Act with moderation and consideration. Contemplate ideals and realistic goals and weigh out possibilities and options. Temper not with personal delusions or false hope but learn to accept and move on.

I do enjoy videos of your tank busters. there is just something about a big tank with big fish. I can see why they would be expensive to feed.

Don't know if you know, but Clown Knifes get upwards of four feet for males, five for females. At that size they will eat every fish in your aquarium.
Dave
As an aside, I ounce had a four and half foot Clown Knife in my 700. It ate every fish in the aquarium, including 14 inch Oscars. It too six guys from the Memphis Aquarium to get into their container for their SE Asia display. The 700 is now a Marine Reef aqarium.

Fish stores that stock them don't tell you how large Clown Knifes and most Chiclids how large and the carnage they do when they get max size and aggression.

That boggles the mind a bit.
The 700 is now a Marine Reef aqarium.
I'd love to see that!

I believe Dave was gone before I joined the forum, but I've seen enough of the guy's stickies/primers to know he was a big contributor to the site. Good to see someone so experienced back on the forum.
