Haha was 2° this morning here when I woke up and 6 days ago it was 77° in the afternoon.... we did find it to be -3° driving through the valley on the way to work this morning, but was 9° on the actual work site.
No snow but humidity at 26% which feels gross chasing this close to humidity for months under 10%. My hair is happy to disappoint me day after day lately for it too.

Currently 77F here, with 84% humidity...speaking of "gross"...c'mon, cold front!

If you want cold weather, you can have ours. We got a huge, windy snow flurry a couple of days ago, and there's still snow on the ground. My order of Fall bulbs isn't due to arrive until Friday. They're very, very late this year. It's forecast to get into the 50s and 60s a couple of days next week. I just hope the ground isn't frozen solid, yet. If so, I may have to give some bulbs away to folks in warmer climates.
20 gal. high: planted; 5 white cloud minnows, 4 golden White Clouds, several RCS, 2 blue shrimp, 5 Amano shrimp, several snails; Azoo air. 65 gal: planted; 6 rosy barbs, 6 yellow glofish, 3 red glofish, 3 zebra danios, 5 white cloud minnows, 3 dojo loaches, 6 crimson spot rainbow fish, 12 large Amano Shrimp, several snails; AC110.

I ordered some bulbs that are to be planted in Fall for Spring blossoms -- Daffodils, Tulips, some Spring blooming lilies. This is a mail order nursery I've been using for years. Normally, when I order from them in Fall, they have my bulbs delivered in late September or early October. This year, the growers had problems getting the bulbs to them, due to excessively hot weather in their area. I didn't realize that would be the case when I placed my order. Also, normally, our weather stays reasonably warm through October and even into early November. Our snowy cold has come much earlier this year. I might still be able to plant these bulbs if they arrive Friday, as the tracker indicates. If the snow has melted off by then, the ground might still be workable, but it's uncertain.
If I can't plant them this Fall, I'll either have to figure out how to store them and keep them viable until next Fall, or give them away. These aren't supposed to be planted in Spring.
It's just an unfortunate situation with the nurseries this year. Not really their fault. I also order from this company in Spring, the kinds of plants that are supposed to be planted in Spring for early summer bloom.

Can you refrigerate them to preserve them?

I have split and pulled bulbs and not gotten them replanted in time. I would use larger pots and whatever dirt I had around and then set the pots out buried in leaves and/pine needles. It worked for what I had but it was almost entirely bulbs I pulled rather than new ones so I don't know if that would work for you or not.
