Is this a black skirt angel? Just making sure.

It looks like it could be a half black/Green Leopard. Maybe a mix between the two? I'm not entirely sure

Sorry for the bad quality! I'm not good with cameras, and I just got it so the lights are off in the tank, to avoid stressing it out more.

It looks like it's a Veiltail as well, that explains the long finnage.

Looks like a smokey veiltail with something else floating around. It's not halfblack though, the boarder isn't well defined enough.
For more info check here, the pics should help.

Yeah, when I got it from my lfs the tag only read 'veiled black angel', but when I got it home and in some light it was obvious it wasn't a black one. I'll go check out the link now.

Go with DrNic's answer, he's bread Angels and he knows what he's talking about. I just knew for sure it was a Veiltail

He's a lovely fish. His colors will also firm up as he matures. I bought an angel once thinking he was an all silver. He turned into a gold. If you got him from the store rather than a breeder, then he could be a mix of any combination of angels.
Your tank looks a little cloudy. I hope it's cycled?Last edited by Lady Hobbs; 03-21-2012 at 12:41 PM.

Thank you! I'm very happy with him (guessing it's a him, I've seen no breeding tubes.)
