lol. the chase is on.
its not intended, but just about every month the male rosy barbs chas a female rosy around the tank as soon as i cut on the lights. i think she must be laying eggs and they are eating them. i am not wanting to raise rosy barbs so i haven't attempted to breed them. do ya think this is whats happening. its the only thing i can figure.

Too few females in the tank per males. You need not worry about eggs turning to babies because they will be eaten but I'd either have all the same sex or increase the females.

i have four females and three males. not worried about breeding them. just curious if thats what they are up to. this is my barb tank. i have tigers, pandas, rosys, cherries, golds, spanners, clowns, black ruby's, aurulius, and one lone rhombo that was called a clown barb by petsmart. i am in the process of trying to get an aquarium store to order some more rhombo barbs. in this tank i also have 3 zebra loaches, a clown pleco, a rainbow shark, and a pearl and a blue gourami. i am going to upgrade it to a 120 in the next couple of months.
