  1. Default How to help female managuense/eggs

    0 Not allowed!
Never done research on this end, but my managuensis, Defiantely a girl according to the size of the tube she's got sticking out, is acting like there are eggs in the tank.. You know, tail shuffles and wicked protection of the eggs. I can't see any eggs, and there is no male.. So should I siphon out the eggs if I see them? I don't wanna stress her out at all.. I just don't really know what I'm supposed to do here lol.. Will she keep laying eggs all the time even if there is no male? Or is this a fluke? Lol I'm thinking of buying a male soon.. I just don't really know what to do in this situation lol. She's showing some hard core protection lol.. Flared gills, a dead Pleco.. Even attacking the water that's coming out of The filter lol.. So any help?
Parachromis Managuensis named Jagger. My favorite fish, bought from a low quality, dirty lfs at 1.5 inches. Grew 4 inches in the first 5 weeks. Best fish I've ever had and he is spoiled rotten.
