i already posted this in the introducing my self and i was told to post it here to get help with my questions....
Hello all, my names Louis and Im so glad I found this site. Im not new to reef keeping but Ive been out of the game for 5 years and feel Ive lost base with alot of things when it comes to keeping reef tanks. I was interested in a Biocube 29 hqi since Ive seen that they have come a long way and makes it almost (not completely with out testing and time) idiot proof. What would you guys rec? Im looking no bigger then 29 gallon and money is no issue but space is. I was good at keeping 10 gallons getting all the lighting and test kits i needed but then my gf at the time found out she was prego and suddenly I was distracted and neglecting a reef tank for 5 days and messing up my lighting suddenly threw a wrench into the mix and my corals were dying and my fish were unhealthy. I thought i could fix it in a few days but ended up giving up and selling everything. So Im starting new clean slate with a budget, time and hopefully you helpful folks to get me going in the right direction. Any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would suggest the largest tank you can make work with your space and budget. The higher the water volume, the better the stability of the tank

There are some great stickies here that can help you make other equipment choices once you have decided on what type of set-up you want. There are many different approaches to setting up a reef tank.

thanks cliff. my major concern is lighting I know Ill have a good enough light a T5 is pretty good right? im just worried about light timings last time I wasnt giving enough light or giving to much and I got frustrated.

Generally speaking, T5HO lighting is going to be a good option. There are a lot of options for T5HO lighting which will depend up the tank you get and the types of corals you want.
