gnarfle the garthock
My biggest emerald crab made a fatal mistake tonight. It did what I hear is inevitable for them to do and it did it right in front of me. I watched it take a bite out of my new lobo frag. I was able to catch it barehanded aNd off to the mantis tank it went. It took Hannibal a half hour or so to realize its presence before it was mantis 1 crab zero. It was quick and brutal but Hannibal had crab dinner tonight. I have 4 more ems I'm watching closely. Behave or gnarfle the garthock! I could have videoed the event but I didn't think it would go over too well.

LOL, that is why I will never keep anything with pointy feet in any of my reef tanks
I have a emerald living happily in the live rock compartment of the sump, just for the same reason. If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
